Biography


Shirakawagou
Makoto Ikeda is a full Professor at Department of Information and Communication Engineering, Faculty of Information Engineering, Fukuoka Institute of Technology (FIT). He received B.E. and M.S. degrees in Information and Communication Engineering, FIT, in 2005 and 2007, respectively. He received a Ph.D. degree from Intelligent Information and System Engineering, FIT in 2010. He was a Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) Research Fellow, from April 2008 to March 2010. From April 2010 to March 2011, he was an Assistant Research Fellow, in the Center for Asian and Pacific Studies, Seikei University. From April 2011 to March 2013, he was an Assistant Professor at FIT. From April 2013 to March 2023, he was an Associate Professor at FIT. Dr. Ikeda has widely published in peer reviewed international journals and international conferences proceedings. He has served as PC Members for many international conferences. He is a member of IEEE, ACM, IPSJ and IEICE. His research interests include wireless networks, mobile computing, high-speed networks, P2P systems, mobile ad-hoc networks, wireless sensor networks and vehicular ad-hoc networks.
